I filled the glass jar with about 2 inches of vinegar. I then suspended the piece of copper over the vinegar with the piece of twine, closed the jar, and left it in a warm, dark place.

Nearly two weeks after beginning the experiment, the copper has developed a greenish-blue covering. The covering appears to be developing evenly across the copper.

One week after the last update, the verdigris has perhaps grown somewhat, but overall appears to be largely the same.

A few days short of a month since the last update, the verdigris certainly seems to have grown and developed a more pronounced texture, though the difference is relatively slight overall.
